EQA (Ireland) History:
- 1995: Commencement of Quality Management System certification on an agency basis (all reports sent to UK for validation and certification)
- 2001: Awarded Accreditation by the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) to issue ISO 9001 Quality Management System certificates
- 2006: Approved by the Private Security Authority (PSA) to carry out audits for the purpose of PSA licensing
- 2008: Awarded Accreditation by INAB to issue EN 50131 and SR 40 certificates for Intruder Alarm Installers. Updated accreditation for Management System Certification from EN 45012 to ISO 17021
- 2009: Management System Accreditation extended to cover Environmental Management Certification (ISO 14001)
