Joe Egan – EQA Governing Board Member
Joe is a retired Assistent Commissioner from An Garda Siochana. During his career he gained a vast knowledge of Policing and Management of very large service organisations both at home and overseas at senior management level.
Among the many special projects he managed was responsibility for Crime and Security in the state. His overseas assignments included membership for a number of years on the Europol Management Board in the Hague. and on the European Chiefs of Police Task force committee in Brussels. Since retiring from the An Garda Siochana he has provided Consultancy services to a number of commercial organisations in the Security and Corporate Governance sectors.
Joe was appointed a member of the EQA Governing Board in 2015.
He currently serves as a voluntary member on the Ethics& Research Committee at the Crumlin Children`s Hospital. He continues to play an active role in many sports and activities.
