Michael Bergin – Chairman of (EQA Governing Board)
Michael is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology and has worked in a wide variety electronic engineering roles over the past thirty years. Since 1990 he has been in the electronic security industry; first with Scopetonic, then ITEC (which became GE Security) and finally HKC Ltd.
Over that time, he has worked as a Design Engineer, Production Engineering Manager (with responsibility for Quality Management) and now, Product Manager for HKC Ltd.
He is a member of two CEN/CENELEC TC79 working groups tasked with updating a range of European Standards for Alarm systems.
Michael was appointed a member of the EQA Governing Board in 2010.
