EQA (Ireland) are the leading provider of certification for the purpose of PSA licensing. We are also the only certification body who are currently offering certification for all PSA licensed schemes.
For each of the licensed categories operated by the Private Security Authority (PSA), there are corresponding certification requirements. For some schemes, it is required to obtain certification to a standard before the application is processed by the PSA (e.g. Guarding Security, Door Supervision, Access Control) for others it is necessary to register with a certification body in order to obtain a Temporary license (e.g. Intruder Alarm Installation, CCTV Installation) with certification to a standard required before a full license can be issued.
